CheaterJack Questions & Answers
| Q |
How big of a tree will it push over? |
| A |
Cheaterjack has pushed some very large trees. As a rule, any tree that can be pulled over with 1/2" Arborplex rope can be pushed with Cheaterjack. |
| Q |
How hard is Cheaterjack to use? |
| A |
The operator can feel the amount of pressure applied to a tree through Cheaterjack and control the tree with predictable ease. |
| Q |
How long has Cheaterjack been on the market? |
| A |
Cheaterjack was created in 2001. |
| Q |
What keeps the base from slipping? |
| A |
The angle that Cheaterjack grips ground is key. At 4' to 6' from tree, downward pressure from Cheaterjack and aggressive traction of the base gives Cheaterjack a firm and stable platform to push from. When on loose ground like new sod or sugar sand, there is a place to attach rope on Cheaterjack's base and tie it to the base of the tree. |
| Q |
Why do I need Cheaterjack when I can just use ropes? |
| A |
How long does it take you to set and anchor a rope? Do you ever questions someone's condition or ability to pull while you are cutting? Cheaterjack takes the guesswork out of tree-felling. The cutter can feel how much pressure is needed to complete the job. |
| Q |
How long does it take to throw a tree? |
| A |
No two trees are the same, but my average is 3 minutes per tree. This averages 6 times faster than using traditional ropes. |
| Q |
What happens if I don't like Cheaterjack? |
| A |
While this hasn't happened yet, all you have to do is return Cheaterjack for a full refund of the purchase price. |
| Q |
What about shipping? |
| A |
Cheaterjack is shipped UPS Ground and costs just $75 in the lower 48 states. |
| Q |
Is it expensive? |
| A |
Cheaterjack far outweighs its initial investment of only $975 |
